Key Responsibilities:
Maintain all personnel files in compliance with the legal requirements, keeping them up to date with any changes
Processes employee disciplinary actions
Assist in the hiring process by prcoessing background checks, drug tests and checking references
Responsible for new hire orientation
Prepare payroll for processing
Assist all employees with general questions regarding payroll, benefits, FMLA, workmans comp etc
Close communication with the staffing coordinator for any changes in staffing needs as they occur

Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of computer software
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Certifications such as SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) preferred
3+ years of human resources experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
