At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body mind and spirit of every person in a more comfortable less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum.\xc3\x82 \xc3\x82 Provides services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care of the sick, prevention of disease, or conservation of health.\xc3\x82 The position contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health. * Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.\xc3\x82

• Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic,\xc3\x82 dynamic way to collect and analyze the following healthcare consumer data including: psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic and lifestyle factors

Qualifications

Graduate of an RN nursing program.

Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.

Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life Support.

Starting Jan. 1, 2022, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
