Current licensure or permit as a advanced practice provider in the state of Arkansas.ExperienceKnowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation. 3-5 years Oncology experience preferred. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.JOB SUMMARYThe Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Imaging plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care within the imaging department, specifically overseeing the lung screening program and managing procedural patients. This position involves conducting pre-screening visits, ordering necessary imaging, and ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up care. The APP will also perform pre-procedural assessments for patients scheduled for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring they are fully prepared and informed. Post-procedure, the APP will conduct follow-up visits to monitor recovery, manage any complications, and make referrals to specialists or order additional tests as required.In addition to direct patient care, the APP will actively promote imaging screening services through patient education initiatives, community outreach, and collaboration with healthcare providers. This role necessitates a strong commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimize outcomes for all patients.
