Job Description

Thriving and well-managed small law (8-10 persons) seeks a full-time immigration associate attorney to work in-person in a modern law office in vibrant downtown Rockville. This position is not remote or hybrid.

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload related to asylum, family-based petitions, NVC, consular processing, removal proceedings, SIJS, U visas, waivers, BIA appeals, humanitarian parole, and employment-based applications. Provide legal counsel to clients and skillfully navigate complex immigration procedures with clarity and precision. Diligently review and prepare accurate legal documents, petitions, and applications. Be active in staying well-informed about immigration law and policy changes to provide current guidance. Cultivate trusting and strong working relationships with coworkers and clients. Be proactive in contributing to the firm's growth. Collaborate effortlessly with colleagues to resolve challenges and produce quality customer service. Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active Bar license, preferably from Maryland. 1-2 years of experience practicing immigration law. Proficiency in handling diverse immigration matters. Strong organizational acumen and meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team. Fluency in Spanish. Possess a strong work ethic and genuine dedication to assisting clients. Ability to be innovative to resolve complex legal challenges.

Compensation:

The firm offers an attractive salary complemented by an end of the year bonus based upon firm profitability and performance.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
