Job Description

Collaborative, highly respected and successful client in the Industrial Refrigeration Industry is in need of a Controls Engineer/Project Manager in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Company values their employees, providing the Health Insurance Premium for the employee and a take-home company vehicle.

You will work out of the Fort Wayne office supporting regions that do not have Regional CE\xe2\x80\x99s; includes but, not limited to, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Western Arkansas. Some occasionally outside that area but not very often.

Regional Controls Engineer/Project Manager Typical Activities:

• Customer relations
• Develop estimates, written quotes, and written scope of work documents for installation of proposed control system
• Develop initial system designs
• Conduct design reviews
• Review schematics prior to release
• Project scheduling/management from start to finish
• Startup support: Support Commissioning Engineer
• Develop manuals, spare parts listing, and all project documentation

Rockwell Regional Refrigeration Controls Engineer/Project Manager Profile:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Technology
• MUST have 3+ years of Industrial Project Management
• 3+ years of Industrial Refrigeration experience, a Plus
• MUST be highly proficient with Rockwell Automation and commissioning
• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs (specification power components, sensors, and communications systems).
• Ability to work unsupervised; self-motivated, self-starter, independent
• Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
• Willingness to travel local & overnight travel as needed; There will be weekly travel but this would not be overnight. Overnight travel would be approx. 25-30% of the time.
