Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the well-being of each child.
Requirements
-Childcare experience
-Required 12 Early Childhood Units/Child Development (semester or quarter equivalent)
-Be able to provide evidence to work in United States
Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preschool curriculum that aligns with the needs and abilities of our students.
- Create and maintain a stimulating and organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, including those with special educational requirements.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and minimize disruptions.
- Provide high-quality childcare and support the overall development of our students, including their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the delivery of a cohesive and high-quality educational program.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their child's progress and any issues that may arise.
Skills
- Proven experience working with young children, including those with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and education principles.
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive preschool curriculum.
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with the Montessori method and its application in early childhood education.
- Excellent lesson planning skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Experience with childcare and the ability to provide high-quality support to young children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with parents and caregivers in a professional and respectful manner.
Abilities
-Be able to lift up to 40lbs, requires bending, kneeling, walking, running
-Be able to clear Live Scan check
-Be able to provide medical clearance to work per California State licensing
