Infirmary Nurse Assistant W/ Housekeeping Night Shift
Job Description
This position serves a small infirmary of elderly and infirm religious Sisters. The Infirmary Certified Nurse Assistant will be responsible the care of these Sisters including, but not limited to: activities of daily living, transport within the facility, cleaning and housekeeping of several areas within the convent, companionship, and providing social and cognitive activities. This person will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse who supervises the overall operation of the Infirmary. We are seeking a joyful, quiet, respectful individual who can help our Sisters live their religious life in their later years.
The schedule for this position is 6:00pm - 6:30am
Qualifications:
Experience in caring for elderly and infirm
Certified Nurse Assistant preferred, but not required
Ability to respond to medical emergencies appropriately
Compassionate, friendly
Confidential
Able to lift, pull, push up to 25 pounds, as needed
Ability to operate a mechanical lift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
