We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join Evernorth\xe2\x80\x99s Information Security team. The team protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems in core systems and platforms. As a Senior Advisor, your daily responsibilities revolve around engineering cybersecurity infrastructure solutions within the company\xe2\x80\x99s network and overseeing the robust security infrastructure that facilitates these operations. Working in tandem with a team of cybersecurity engineers, you will spearhead efforts to prevent and remediate cybersecurity incidents through continuous optimization of policies and rules.As a senior technical member of the team, you\'ll play a crucial role in fostering cross-functional partnerships, particularly with the IT department and product groups. You will provide robust support and implement stringent security measures across global platforms, ensuring that solutions remain fortified against evolving cyber threats while seamlessly integrating with the company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of security engineering, SecOps, Data Loss Protection, event management, security monitoring, and risk-based alerting experience highly desired.
• Proven cyber security experience with Identity, Firewall, Cloud, and SIEM tools (e.g, Okta, AlgoSec, primary firewall platform is Palo Alto, with secondary responsibilities for Fortinet, and Akamai DDOS/edge solutions, Splunk, and Qradar)
• Strong ability to convey complex information risk and security issues in a manner easily understood and actionable and that constructively challenges prevailing thoughts and processes.
• Good judgment, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service, and business integrity.
• Automation tool or scripting experience, such as Ansible, Python, and/or PowerShell, preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade firewall solutions, including next-generation firewall, to enforce network security policies and protect against advanced threats.
• Configure and deploy security tools and technologies specific to cloud environments and cloud-native security services.
• Architect and deploy secure access service edge solutions integrating security capabilities for the comprehensive protection of distributed networks and remote users.
• Implement and optimize centralized identity and access management on security infrastructure, ensuring secure access to resources and data and adhering to least privilege principles.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, fostering continuous improvement.
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation measures to enhance overall security posture.
• Communicate complex security concepts effectively, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive security initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
