Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Inpatient Rehab Services Nurse (RN) Manager for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Rehab Center at TriStar Skyline is Middle Tennessee\'s only CARF accredited acute inpatient physical rehabilitation program. Our program provides specialized and highly skilled physical rehabilitation services to patients with complex needs. The 41-bed unit is one of Middle Tennessee\'s largest premier inpatient facilities featuring large, private rooms. Our team of board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians works with patients and their families every step of the way to get patients back to the quality of life they deserve.

Our Rehabilitation Program is designed to help people overcome the effects of a stroke or other debilitating injury or illness. The program combines physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, rehab nursing and neuro-psychology services under the direction of a physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician). Education, disease management, diet, home set-up, social and emotional needs and home exercise programs are provided to patients and their families to help them manage their care and perform acts of daily living at home. Medicare and most private insurance plans cover some or all of prescribed rehabilitation services.

• You will be primarily responsible to assist director as needed for initial onboarding of new staff with appropriate preceptor/mentor and oversight of orientation and facilitates attendance to mandatory/retention touch point opportunities during the first year.
• You will recommend the establishment or revision of policies/processes and assist in developing organizational structure and standards of performance.
• You will promote strong and effective working relationships with other hospital departments, peers, caregivers, and leadership.
• You will assist in facility scheduler, Kronos editing, hiring processes, patient rounding with validation of evidence based practices and patient experience.
• You will establish personnel qualification requirements, initiates huddles, in-service programs, quality and patient safety liaison, and performs other personnel management tasks.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or approved compact state required Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Nursing is required \xe2\x80\x93 or currently enrolled in BSN program
• Master\'s Preferred Three to five years of experience as an RN .
• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) strongly preferred
• Three years experience of supervisory roles preferred - Charge RN/CNC/House Supervisor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS certification required
