Training and supervising work-study personnel and coordinating shop monitor schedule with faculty
Coordinating department safety concerns to ensure studio, faculty, and staff compliance with Environmental Health & Safety, EPA, and OSHA regulations
Providing safety training to students in coordination with faculty
Testing students in the safe use of equipment and the proper handling/storage of materials
Organizing and maintaining inventory of tools and equipment in classroom and shop facilities
Repairing equipment
Submitting work orders as needed
Keeping all tools in safe working order
Specifying needed supplies for safety, equipment repair, and maintenance of 3D shops and classrooms
Coordinating supply orders; tracking expenditures for bulk materials
Managing 3D replacement parts/equipment budget
Working with department faculty on special projects as needed to organize, repair, and maintain all labs.
Teaching no more than 2 courses/semester in the 3D area (to include two 7-week courses for the community each semester)
Other duties as assigned
