Overview
The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for managing insurance-related documentation and the disposition of insurance claims. Incumbent is the primary contact between the Glick Company and the insurance companies and the insurance agency.
Responsibilities
Reviewing incident and accident reporting, providing support and guidance to incident responders, and collecting incident documentation for later insurance reporting.
Managing the entire disposition of insurance claims from date of loss through claim
Preparing and managing discovery
Preparing and managing documentation necessary for insurance policy
Maintaining copies of insurance policies and other insurance program
Managing lender insurance
Procuring insurance coverages for real estate acquisitions, construction projects and similar
Managing insurance coverage and policy questions for company
Participating in the development of company-wide insurance-related internal
Reviewing vendor insurance certificates as
Completing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or
Experience in the property & casualty or liability insurance industries
Experience in multifamily property management
Demonstrable project management experience
Must be comfortable with new and changing
Must be able to work occasional
Must be proficient with MS Office, including MS Excel and MS
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in
Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
