About the Job

We have an opening for an Intensive Case Management (ICM) Therapist in Medford, Oregon. The ICM Therapist will provide strength-based, client-centered, solution focused and motivational enhancement clinical services. These services include therapy, case management, and skills training in various community settings for clients with severe and persistent mental illness. The ICM Therapist will collaboratively work with a multi-disciplinary team to identify client needs, determine appropriate level(s) of support, and connect to appropriate community resources to resolve the identified needs.

This position will perform comprehensive psychosocial mental health assessments, updates, and reviews. Additionally upon assessment, they will further direct client contact observation, identify appropriate DSM diagnosis and develop client-centered treatment plans with the goal of hospital diversion, increasing client independence, and/or finding most appropriate and least restrictive placement. The ICM Therapist will demonstrate the ability to develop therapeutic rapport with clients and maintain clear, consistent, appropriate, and therapeutic boundaries.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm (Full Time, Day). This position is required to work on a weekly on-call rotation.

$5,000 - $6,500 per month DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Pay Scale
  • Unlicensed: $5,000 - $6,000 per month
  • Professional Oregon Mental Health License: $6,000 - $6,500 per month

ColumbiaCare provides Intensive Case Management (ICM) Services, which are high-quality, evidence-based, and flexible services: a community-based package of care that includes assessment, strengths-based treatment planning, and recovery-oriented case management that helps identify the individual\xe2\x80\x99s service needs and establishes and maintains community support systems and service coordination.

ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need

Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration. Eligibility requires:
  • Master\'s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • MUST also meet OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting
If not already registered as a QMHP through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations can be made.

Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
