Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Department: Surgery Cardiac Location: Indianapolis, IN, 46260 Shift: Morning Shift (06:30 - 17:00 Hours), Monday to Friday (10 hours/4 days) Pay Rate: $58/hr (below 50 miles) to $68/hr (more than 50 miles) Benefits: Dental, Medical, Vision Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals for clear, usable images.
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Operate computer systems to document scan sequences, monitor displays for adjustments, and produce diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring safety and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Report important information to physicians and update patient records.
- Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and manage radiographic supplies.
