Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Inventory clerk is Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing stock/components in Conway AR. Primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy of stock (quantity and location) and ongoing reconciliation between physical and perpetual records.

A. Specific Duties for this position include:



- Monitor inventory accuracy in SAP system by performing regular cycle counts

- Identify, analyze and report inventory discrepancies; recommend corrective action(s)

- Data entry of signed packing slips into the SAP goods receipt function for all incoming material and Issue receiving variance reports for incoming shipments as required.

- Coordinates bi-weekly inter-company shipments

- Issue reports and repair/rework components for all Non-conforming materials and follow up with production and purchasing to avoid stock-outs

- Set up of inventory and non-inventory parts according to guidelines. Monitor and maintain Kanban procedure for accuracy and effectiveness.

- Monthly CFG/CRES/ITL reconciliation

- VMI inventory audits

- Coordinate non-inventory supplies Inter-Co. (Add to ZIC orders - shipping bags, tape, boxes ect)

- Key involvement in physical inventory count activities

- Maintain product locations in all inventory storage locations.

- Issue reports for non-conforming materials as directed and follow up with production and purchasing to complete the process.

- Unpack, examine, count, and measure incoming shipments and compare results against the shipper information as needed.

- Issue receiving variance reports for incoming shipments.

- Month end review of QI Blocked inventory. Follow up with Purchasing/production.

- Inventory stock transfers (MIGO, OBD)

- Other duties assigned by department Supervisor

The employee is occasionally exposed to shop floor environment. Hazards which may be encountered on the shop floor are motorized material handling equipment, moving machinery parts, chemicals, dust, and noise. He/she is required to wear safety shoes and safety glasses when entering the shop floor environment.

The noise level in the work environment is low, except for the shop floor.

The employee may be exposed to humidity and cold or hot temperatures.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
