to oversee and manage inventory accuracy, production work orders, and material flow within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper inventory tracking, reporting, and reconciliation using Simba Production Software. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Incoming Product Responsibilities:
Oversee the receipt of goods, review Simba weights & purchased weights from the docks. Ensure they match, if discrepancies appear alert the Production Manager.
Production Reporting Responsibilities:
Review Work Orders, and review accuracy through the production chain.
Document material transfers and reconcile production floor inventory against Simba records.
Ensure proper return of units at the end of shifts to maintain clear production lines.
Create and approve production labels in coordination with QA Managers.
Generate daily production reports for completed work orders, identify discrepancies, and resolve errors with the Production Manager.
Send final Daily Production Reports to headquarters.
Inventory Control Responsibilities:
Conduct daily visual and physical inventory checks to verify stock levels.
Plan and create VAN IDs and shipping plans based on inventory availability in Simba.
Identify and communicate material count discrepancies to key stakeholders.
Assist in resolving inventory issues and discrepancies.
Maintain and enhance inventory control programs.
Troubleshoot basic consumption and reversal issues in Simba.
Assist in traceability audits.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High School, Any Continued Education is a Benefit but not Required.
Experience:
2 Years of inventory control, production planning, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Ability to learn Simba Production Software, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other inventory management tools.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting, Manufacturing floor.
Benefits & Perks:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience in seafood inventory control.
