Overview
We are seeking a Inventory Data Clerk for our Manufacturing Facility on a direct contract basis to join our team at our facility in Bridgeport, CT, 06607. As a Inventory Data Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of parts data in our manufacturing environment. This position requires strong skills in ERP software, shop math, Microsoft Excel, and basic computer skills.Responsibilities
- Maintain and update parts data in the ERP software system
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of parts information, including part numbers, descriptions, and quantities
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify parts data
- Perform regular audits to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in the parts data
- Generate reports and provide analysis on parts data as required
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and initiating purchase orders when necessary
- Support the production team by providing accurate and timely parts information
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data integrity and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using ERP software for parts data management
- Strong shop math skills to accurately calculate quantities and measurements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Basic computer skills, including email communication and file management
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
