Job Summary

In this role, you will report to the Site Services Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor\xe2\x80\x99s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel \xe2\x80\x93 and our customers \xe2\x80\x93 to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

In this role, you will report to the Site Services Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor\xe2\x80\x99s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel \xe2\x80\x93 and our customers \xe2\x80\x93 to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6 am - 3 pm

Location: Chandler, AZ

Wage: $17.20 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500 pays out after 30 days of employment.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience: 1+ years\xe2\x80\x99 customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience is required.

Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Conform to all company and customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues required.

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills required.

\xc2\xb7 High level of customer service skills with the ability to display a professional can-do attitude required.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to lift up to 50lbs required.

\xc2\xb7 Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office required.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines required.

\xc2\xb7 Problem-solving skills required.

\xc2\xb7 Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG and OSHA Right to Know experience is considered a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Previous experience working in a GMP facility is strongly desired.

Avantor\xe2\x80\x99s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will:

\xc2\xb7 Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment.

\xc2\xb7 Manage customer\xe2\x80\x99s point of use or stockroom inventory.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for logistical activities such as shipping and receiving of materials through coordination with 3rd party couriers.

\xc2\xb7 May handle and manage chemicals, including hazardous materials.

\xc2\xb7 Basic order entry and follow-up on existing back-orders.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain and check safety stations.

\xc2\xb7 Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures

\xc2\xb7 Cleanroom garment management.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned.
