• create partnerships by increasing depth and breadth of existing client relationships
• execute M&A and capital markets transactions for corporate and private equity clients
• generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• assist in the management of a team and plan overall resource requirements, by recruiting, developing and retaining talented individuals
• make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards)
• motivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals

Your team

You\'ll be working in the Mergers & Acquisitions team in New York. Our team is responsible for growing a successful team that has a number of retained large and mid-cap client relationships; work on a wide range of public and private transactions for corporate and private equity clients. You\'ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of capital markets and strategic matters.

Your expertise

• Manage major workstreams of transactions including diligence, the development of financial projections and analyses and all client deliverables. Provide critical support and input in the negotiation of transactions as required
• Experienced in public and private M&A transactions. Familiar with relevant M&A structuring and able to work effectively with both strategic and private equity clients
• Able to effectively lead working teams and proficient in all relevant financial analyses
• Presents effectively and with confidence
• Demonstrated track record of taking initiative team player
• Currently a Vice President / Director level in the M&A department of a bulge bracket investment bank
• Undergraduate degree and MBA

Salary information

CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary for this role is $275,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
