Investment Banking Associate, Financial Sponsors

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

Provides support to senior bankers.

Develop client presentation materials, including all background research, analysis and drafting.

Familiarity with financial models and other financial analysis.

Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis.

Assist senior bankers on client coverage initiatives.

Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.

Work closely and help train financial analysts.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education:

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business or equivalent field.

Work Experience:

Related experience in Financial Services Industry , 3-5 years

Skills and Abilities:

Understanding of corporate finance and banking products.

Demonstrated knowledge of credit

Solid financial modeling skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to coordinate across multiple teams

Team player and self starter

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $126,000-$195,500. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
