Responsibilities This is a full-time remote position within the United States. The Enterprise API Management Unit in Mayo Clinic\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Technology Services Division has an opening for an IT Application Analyst in support of analysis and enablement for cloud data interfaces. Supports software programs or modules across multiple clinical and/or business functions. Understands the business environment and the impact IT can have on the business environment. Provides analysis and support for installed systems as well as system implementation and integration projects that require systems analysis, design, testing and implementation for specific modules or applications. Maintains knowledge of existing systems and is certified in the vended application, as required. Configures, designs, develops, or modifies applications via vendor tools or augmented tools developed within Mayo Clinic and is able to validate data integrity of changes introduced. Resolves customer problems with software and responds to requested improvements and enhancements. Researches requests to determine scope, size and impact. Works with customers to elicit requirements through a variety of techniques. Validates requirement information with customers to ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity. Validates the developed solution to ensure it satisfies the stated requirements. Functions as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas during the planning process. Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs. Manages small- to mid-sized projects. Contributes to software testing activities. Responsibilities include:
Serves a primary role in supporting API access to clinical data across multiple clinical and/or business areas, providing analysis and guidance to assist customer navigation of Mayo Clinic data interfaces.
Able to configure and use programmatic tools, algorithms, and rules required for analysis.
Functions as a liaison to clinical, business, and technical stakeholders while addressing customer requests.
Validates requests to ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity.
Validates solutions to ensure accuracy and coverage of stated requirements.
Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.
This individual must be comfortable providing hands-on in-person support, working independently on assigned tasks, and partnering with other team members, as needed. May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support. Qualifications Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree OR Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in business analysis. Vendor application certification may be required. Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Agile software development practices and CI/CD systems
Knowledge of HL7 FHIR healthcare information standards
Experience in databases, analytics, big data systems or business intelligence products
Experience supporting software for healthcare related industries
Knowledge of Cloud API and data technologies (preferably GCP)
Authorization to work and remain in the United States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now, or in the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent resident, refugee, or asylee). Also, Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. This position will accept applications until 05/15/2024.
