Job Title: IT Application LeadLocation: Block 23What you\'ll do: The primary expectation of this senior role is to lead IT application delivery for Western Alliance Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Lending business. The role will lead development teams and leverage services from other technology teams (Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, IAM and Security). This role works closely with business teams in order to ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions and capabilities.What we are looking for:Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing technology engineering, application acquisition/development and quality assurance aligned to functional domains.
• Work closely with business leaders to facilitate build versus buy decision and ensure the delivery and reliability of technology solutions.
• Manage robust, reliable, secure and scalable systems on premise or in the cloud.
• Develop solutions across multiple IT domains (APIs / services, Portals, Web /Mobile solutions, Core Application Services, Stored Procedures, SSIS packages)
• Build and maintain partnerships to ensure technology team members understand business needs, functional specifications, and delivery solutions that align with business objectives.
• Influence and establish best in class engineering practices through solid design decisions and tools.
• Provide rapid response and restoration of production faults (incl problem resolution and Correction of Error) in partnership with the Application Support team.
• Implements risk management processes to proactively identify and mitigate technology security threats and establish operational controls that contain risk within the overall risk tolerance of the bank.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in management, project management, IT consulting, or related field
• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working on project(s) involving multiple development life cycles (SDLC)
• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
• 4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in a technology leadership role requiring interaction with senior leadership
• Experience managing the development, implementation, and integration of multiple and/or complex business systems within an organization
• Experience in IT Management in the Banking / Financial Services industry
