Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join a Government Consulting company located in New Orleans, LA. The Senior IT Specialist will support the USMC providing network support for the Marine Corps Forces Reserves Headquarters through 2028. They will be the escalation point for junior and mid employees.

Responsibilities of the Senior IT Specialist include:

\xc2\xb7 Perform Tier III upgrades of networking systems, IT systems, storage networking, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management

\xc2\xb7 Perform advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting in order to maintain optimum IT system operations

\xc2\xb7 Participate in a range of IT network problem identification and solution building for government client

Qualifications for the Senior IT Specialist include:

\xc2\xb7 10+ years of IT Experience (can be professional and/or educational)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with tier 2/3 IT support especially troubleshooting for hardware/software/network devices/ peripherals and account creation in Active Directory/Exchange

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree

\xc2\xb7 IAT Level II Certificate such as Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP

\xc2\xb7 Must currently hold an active Secret Clearance

Compensation for the Senior IT Specialist includes:

\xc2\xb7 Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 **depending on experience**
