Job Description

Join the Information Technology team to support the Internal Infrastructure and CyberSecurity solutions environment through pre- and post-sales interactions, installation, implementation, risk assessments, scans, documentation, and training. Apply and uphold industry standard security best practices and procedures and identify solutions to complex technical problems. The ideal candidate will provide a broad range of information assurance activities and have strong knowledge of systems, operating environments, system security, and networking.





*Position requires onsite work daily in Honolulu, HI





Duties & Responsibilities





Security



Protect and secure company intellectual, computing, and data assets using industry standard security best practices and procedures including NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 Level 2. Evaluate possible cyber intrusions through internal and external tool monitoring and alerts. Implement and support server systems and services security policies and procedures. Enforce established server systems and services security policies and procedures. Contribute to system/security requirements analysis, risk assessment, security design, and system definition. Execute and contribute to plans for protecting, monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to network attacks. Supports CMMC assessments as needed.



Customer Service:



Works with internal and external customers and stakeholders as well as other Cyber Analysts, and SMEs to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed with time and quality standards . Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve help desk requests promptly. Supports program and projects with security and information assurance requirements elicitation based on customer and subject matter expert communication and independent research Perform setup, transfer, and decommissioning of desktops, laptops, and virtual workspaces/workstations. Support and maintain the inventory management system. Maintain internal customer and production system change logs



Service Availability:



Install, manage, troubleshoot, monitor, and configure applications on servers and workstations. Assist in managing the secure cloud and virtual server environment and enterprise storage area network (SAN) infrastructure. Assist in managing and monitoring endpoint protection agents. Refresh desktop and laptop hardware. Provide 24/7 support for System Administration related incidents, as needed.



Infrastructure Initiatives:



Configure, manage, monitor and maintain multiple Microsoft technologies (Microsoft Active Directory, SharePoint, SQL Server, etc.). Implement, support, and maintain the enterprise backup and recovery systems. Deploy patches manually and using automated tools.



Financial:



Practice fiscal responsibility when dealing with vendors and customers. Provide recommendations to maintain or reduce costs. Participate in product procurement activities as an adviser.



Knowledge Transfer:



Excellent interpersonal, presentation, documentation and communication skills. Create & maintain documentation for IT processes, internal customer training and support.



Internal Infrastructure Support:



Support IT team in the organization and storage of RSI hardware and software assets. Provide daily status updates and reports to IT Manager regarding Helpdesk performance metrics. Conduct security system engineering based on industry best practices. Monitor and manage network security devices and operating environments.



Perform all other duties, as required.

Requirements



Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered to substitute education requirement. Must have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and cyber risk assessments. Must have at least 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace Gmail/Accounts. Must have at least 5 years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues. Must have at least 5 years of experience in cloud/virtualization technologies, networking, systems engineering, identity management, web technologies, system administration, and system security. Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Requires little supervision in carrying out work assignments. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse audiences. Expected to develop technical skills continually and understanding of cybersecurity and project requirements. Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. CMMC CCA or RPA a plus. Proficiency with eMASS preferred. CISSP or Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC) Certification desired. Must be available to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to work in the office daily.
