POSITION SUMMARY

As our IT Systems Support Specialist, you will be the first line of support for desktop support requests in the Denver office and, at times, enterprise wide. You will work with the rest of the IT Team to provide outstanding customer service to the company. This includes technical support for Alterra Mountain Company\'s employees including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop software and hardware for personal computing devices. This position will serve as an interface between corporate team members and the technology department. Additionally, you will have extensive interaction with Alterra Mountain Company\'s executive leadership team and be a first responder to Audio/Video issues that occur in the Denver office conference rooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality first tier end-user support and customer service to helpdesk tickets for corporate employees including VIP technical support for Alterra Mountain Company\'s executive leadership team as needed
  • Triage helpdesk tickets quickly and accurately with detailed notes
  • Support, repair, configure, and upgrade Windows and Mac desktop and laptop workstations
  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting of Ricoh copying, scanning, and printing technologies.
  • Provide a seamless onboarding/offboarding process by ensuring that IT hardware, software, and associated accounts and access are provisioned/deprovisioned for new hires or leaving employees
  • Administer software license entitlements, maintaining and updating inventory as required
  • Troubleshoot A/V equipment and assist users with meeting technology setup and configuration including the technical support setup and special user requirements for special events such as large meetings/town halls and conference rooms as needed
  • Provide regular reporting regarding usage, resources, problems, changes and other technical utilization statistics as needed
  • Work with operations, systems, and network teams as appropriate to determine and resolve issues and serve as primary point of contact
  • Move and re-configure hardware to accommodate personnel changes and needs
  • Assist with maintaining a detailed inventory for all corporate IT assets and ensures proper technical inventory levels are kept and alerts proper team members of low inventories
  • Provide mobile device and VOIP phone support
  • Maintain technical standards and processes
  • Other duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES & JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Exemplary customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing Windows PC and Mac laptop and desktop computers in an enterprise Active Directory domain environment, including system deployment/imaging and specifically SCCM/OSD, Intune, and Jamf
  • Knowledge and experience managing Active Directory users, computers, and security groups.
  • Some knowledge of network infrastructure concepts including enterprise WiFi, wired/ethernet switching and cabling, IP addressing.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office suite and M365 integration with OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Teams
  • Experience managing user file shares, file services, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of enterprise video conferencing specifically Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
  • Experience with computer room / data center racking, cabling, power, and basic device troubleshooting
  • Proficient in communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Penchant for problem solving, persistence, and creativity in finding solutions to difficult issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Preferred:
  • 2-year degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
WORK EXPERIENCE

Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in the IT field
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

Preferred:
  • A+ Certification
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.\'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base hourly pay range: $21.63 to $32.69 per hour
