Title: Technical Support Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Level 2Position Summary:
$24-$25/hour
.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude. This role involves providing advanced support for IT issues, maintaining systems and networks, and ensuring efficient and effective IT operations.Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in a MS Windows Environment\xc2\xb7 Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems in a timely and efficient manner.\xc2\xb7 Assist in Managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure.\xc2\xb7 Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.\xc2\xb7 Implement and maintain company policy and security protocols to protect company data.\xc2\xb7 Assist end-users with IT-related inquiries and provide training on new technologies.\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and solutions.\xc2\xb7 Support remote users and ensure secure access to company resources.\xc2\xb7 Participate in IT projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs..Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience\xc2\xb7 Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar.\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in MS Windows desktop and server operating systems.\xc2\xb7 Experience with Azure Active Directory\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\xc2\xb7 Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\xc2\xb7 Reliable transportation to travel throughout Western MA (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden County).
