EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM:

POSITION SUMMARY:



This position serves as staff to multiple regulatory boards, committees and applicable subcommittees assisting in the production of agendas and board and committee appointments. Assumes primary responsibilities with the certification/licensure process of professions regulated within the unit. Provides collaborative, organizational, and logistical support to multiple staff within the Division on procedural matters and ad hoc projects. This position also provides technical support and training for staff and regulated individuals in using the regulatory case management system.



Additionally, this position will draft legal notices, pleadings, orders, cost reports, and routine and confidential memos, correspondence and narratives, conduct initial and enhanced investigative background process regarding applicants for certification and renewal of certification, and perform record management for program board meeting files and board, committee and subcommittee appointment files.



After an initial period of at least three months in person, this position may offer the ability to work remotely up to two days per week, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of related experience. Relevant experience may substitute for education. In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organization, time management, proficiency with Windows-based programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel and in database utilization. This position also requires the ability to handle and manage sensitive and confidential information, demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, the ability to understand and apply court rules, administrative orders, policies and procedures, and the demonstrated ability to draft motions and pleadings and other legal documents and to organize and maintain legal files.



The preferred candidate will have experience in the court system, preferably in Arizona, knowledge regarding processes surrounding court interpreting and translation, familiarity with professional high-stakes credentialing programs, and public speaking skills.



Some overnight travel is required for exam administration and training, not to exceed 10%. Additionally, occasional weekend work is required for exam administration, not to exceed 5%.
