Kennel Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisorExperience:
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with kennel operations and sanitation protocols a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentPlease note that this position may require heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and extended periods of standing or walking.
