Key Account Manager

to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity within an innovative and growing organization. This position offers a base salary range of $80,000 to $130,000 USD, depending on experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to drive growth within the Industrial & Commercial sector in North America. This role will play a critical part in expanding LuminUltra's access to the fuel industry through the creation and implementation of innovative sales strategies to increase market share. The Key Account Manager will leverage their technical expertise and sales acumen to build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver value-driven microbial control solutions (such as ATP and qPCR products and services) to our customers.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, ambitious, and detail-oriented individual that creates and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders. In this role, the Key Account Manager will have key responsibilities, such as:Execute on the sales strategy to grow market share in the Industrial & Commercial market.
Develop the end-to-end sales approach to pursue new key accounts and major corporate clients to increase client base.
Identify, attract, and onboard new channel partners to service identified key territories and focused applications.
Manage Key Accounts revenue and relationships through value-added initiatives to identify growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
Effectively manage a sales pipeline through the CRM.
Attend and participate in industry conferences and trade shows.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, marketing, and product development to meet customer needs.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities for contribution to strategic planning in close collaboration with the Vertical Market Sales Lead - Industrial & Commercial
Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Moderate overnight travel required for this role, between 30% of the time.
Qualifications
5+ years of technical sales experience in Industrial Water markets or a related industry.
Bachelors degree or diploma in science, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and education.
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of the industrial sector.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills with the ability effectively negotiate with and influence decision-makers.
Experience delivering technical product presentations and solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel locally and/or internationally, as needed, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
