Retail Sales/Cashiers
for the 2025 cruise season!Why Join Us?
$20/hour
pay rate$1,000 contract completion bonus
(prorated based on contract completion) Work in a beautiful, remote Alaskan location Engage with visitors from around the world in a fun retail environmentJob Duties:
Provide
exceptional guest service
by greeting and assisting customers Maintain a friendly and welcoming shopping experience Stay knowledgeable about products, promotions, and advertisements Assist withmerchandising, stocking, and store upkeep
Accurately completesales transactions
and manage POS operations Adhere tocompany policies
, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention Communicate guest requests to management Support store housekeeping, maintenance, and organizationPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to
stand for long periods
andclimb stairs multiple times a day
Ability tobend, stretch, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs
Must be comfortable working in anoisy area with various odors present
Work in anunheated building
andtravel to a remote location
Must be willing tolive in a remote, rural community
Comfortable traveling bysmall plane or ferry
to and from the job site Must be able towalk or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
Be flexible toextended work hours during the season
