What\xe2\x80\x99s involved in this role:We are looking for Lactose Operator in Le Sueur, Minnesota.The Lactose Operator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all equipment and machinery related to lactose processing. The Lactose Operator also performs Clean In Place cycles, keeping all equipment and the processing environment clean and sanitized.

• $26.13/hour
• $1.50 Shift Differential
• Double Time on Sundays
• 2-2-3 Rotational Schedule

• 6:00 pm \xe2\x80\x93 6:00 am

What you need to join our team:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Operate all the key pieces of dairy processing equipment in the Lactose department, performing CIP as needed and per schedule. * Successfully follow complex procedure equipment start-up.

• Proficiently run equipment involving emptying crystallization tanks, and refining lactose crystals before drying into Lactose powder.
• Regulate factors such as solids and temperature, making adjustments depending on the type of product to be produced.
• Take frequent readings, logging up to fifty variables.
• Operate Clean In Place (CIP) cycles, troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery.
• No experience required; in house training provided
• Willingness to learn and work as a team

Our cheese facility produces various types of cheese, including cheddar, monterey jack, asiago, fontina, parmesan and romano. Our ingredients facility runs various whey streams, including; whey protein isolate (WPI), whey protein concentrate 34 (WPC 34), whey protein concentrate 80 (WPC 80) and both pharma and food-grade lactose.
