POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for helping lead the day-to-day maintenance and aesthetics of the park landscape and multiple landscaping team members. This individual will report to the landscaping supervisor.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily Maintenance and upkeep of vegetation, including mowing, planting, digging, pruning and general clean-up.
- Organization and Delegation of daily tasks to landscaping team.
- Provide direction and supervision of line employees daily.
- Provide coaching and performance management to employees.
- Responsible for maintaining the general landscape of the park, including flower beds, walkways, lawn and wooded areas.
- Responsible for development and upkeep of general park aesthetic.
- Assist with Holiday Promotion event set-up.
- Other Duties as assigned
SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid WA state drivers license.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar field
- Ability to work long shifts and various schedules.
- 3+ years of landscaping experience
- Experience with irrigation a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and professionally with guests, co-workers and management
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, crawling, walking and crouching, while operating basic tools and machinery.
- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, able to work independently and have a positive attitude.
