Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Execute hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Dig, plant, and care for gardens, ensuring optimal growth conditions for various plant species. Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for landscaping tasks. Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal, snow plowing, and seasonal clean-ups. Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or pesticides as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is desirable. Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites. A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 50 per week
