Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a new full-time Clinician position with our organization\xe2\x80\x99s newest forensic mental health program.

This program will exclusively serve people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.

The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.

The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.

Services are provided to female jail inmates onsite at the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility in Santee, CA.

As a Clinician with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:

• Providing mental health services to program clients one-to-one and in-person

• Performing psychosocial evaluations

• Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychoeducation and crisis intervention

• Documenting treatment and client progress

• Participating in clinical team meetings

• Taking a leadership role in individual treatment team planning

• Consulting and collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff

• Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services

As a new employee in this role you can expect a starting salary between $82,000 and $95,000.

Liberty takes into consideration relevant work experience, professional licensure status and credentials, work schedule / shift, and worksite location when determining a new hire\xe2\x80\x99s specific starting salary.

Full-time employees accrue up to 30 days (240 hours) of cumulative paid time off annually \xe2\x80\x93 and are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision and disability insurance as well as other perks \xe2\x80\x93

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally as a LCSW or LMFT.

Experience serving people who have severe and persistent mental illness is helpful.
