Job Description


job summary:

  • Execute vulnerability scans
  • Support daily operational health of vulnerability management toolset
  • Provide continuous monitoring for emerging cyber security threats
  • Assist in compliance activities
  • Involvement in penetration testing and red-team exercises if applicable
  • Track remediation work consistently in order to evidence improvements to program and closure of vulnerabilities
  • Create, improve, and document repeatable and consistent processes and procedures around vulnerability management program
  • Assist in operational projects and tasks
  • Consult with remediation owners/stakeholders to help inform the resolution of vulnerabilities
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of the scanning and vulnerability remediation processes
  • Travel expected - minimal
Education/Experience/Certification/Skills/Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification/Skills):
  • 1-2 years of analyst experience with at least 1 year of security experience (Experience in related fields such as compliance, IT support or other analytical fields also applicable)
  • Experience with common vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys
  • Some knowledge of Unix, LINUX, and Windows operating environments.
  • Industry certification preferred such as Security+, CISSP desirable
