Job Title: Contracts LeadJob Code: 17052Job Location: Remote OpportunityJob Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days \xe2\x80\x93 totaling 80 hours worked \xe2\x80\x93 and have every other Friday off:L3Harris has an availability for a Contracts Lead with knowledge knowledge of commercial and government contracting to join our team. The lead will analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures stablish and maintain primary contractual interface with the customer during and after negotiations.Essential Functions:

• Mitigate performance risks and support change control processes and overall contract management for large, complex projects
• Identify and analyze new laws, regulations, and contract trends to determine negative business impacts
• Provide reports and advise senior leadership regarding commercial, legal, and contractual matters
• Propose improvements in processes, systems, or products
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company within areas of expertise
• Provide contractual review of solicitations, draft proposal responses, and support overall proposal development
• As part of contract formation, diligently and expeditiously negotiate contractual terms and conditions that minimize legal, commercial, and technical risk while seeking to maximize revenue, gross margin, and free cash flow
• Travel 25%, however, may be higher based on business needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR supplements (e.g. DFARS), and other agency regulations
• Negotiation Experience

• Strong Drafting Skills
• International Experience

#LI-RemoteIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Washington State and New York State is $92,000 - $171,000. For California, Seattle and New York City, the salary range for this role is $106,000 - $197,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
