JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Dispensary Associate works alongside the Manager and Assistant Managers of Dispensary Operations, overseeing all patient/customer interactions at the Center. It is also the role of a Lead Dispensary Associate to delegate tasks to employees under their command and when the Dispensary Managers are not present in order to continue the operations of the workplace. They are responsible for training new and existing staff.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a busy cannabis retail center. The dispensary area can be loud due to lots of people, music, ventilation fans, etc. Will be in almost constant contact with patients, customers and co-workers. Work can be stressful and may include dealing with patient and customer demands. Should be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All tasks otherwise assigned by Management. Arranges and keeps displays tidy. Update displays as items sell out or come back into stock. Assists with reconciling cash/credit discrepancies with POS systems. Cash management responsibilities throughout shift. Ensures that Dispensary Associates' opening and closing duties are completed. Handles patient/customer concerns and resolves problems that Dispensary Associates are unable to resolve. Must rotate weekend work shifts with the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Dispensary Manager. Operating a POS system throughout shift as needed. Provide discounts to patients/customers according to policy. Responsible for notifying the Dispensary Managers of any patient or personnel complaints, needs or concerns. All aspects of delivery. Work additional hours as needed.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work requires periods of prolonged sitting and standing, walking, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a cash register, computer, telephone, calculator, etc. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Good communication skills. Ability to adapt to an environment that is everchanging. Ability to adhere to and follow strict policies, SOP's, and guidelines. Must have a positive attitude. Must be goal oriented. Must possess the ability to work well with others in a team-centric atmosphere. Must be punctual, and reliable. Must possess problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree or experience in a similar and/or related field is preferred. Customer service experience of 2+ years is required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
