This is a newly created, full-time, permanent Lead Electrical Controls Project Engineer career opportunity at a smaller but growing, flexible systems integrator. This position is challenging and there is a variety of customers and projects. This person can be involved in controls projects to networking to ARC Flash studies and so on. Employees stay current with technology. This person will gain experience and be able to manage projects when they are able. Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Designing controls projects
Programming Programmable Logic Controls, Wonderware, HMI, Rockwell, and SCADA
Utilizing Factorytalk, Wonderware or Ignition software
Participating in MCC, control panel and P&ID engineering
Developing SQL
Working individually and and part of a team
Performing computer networking as needed
Traveling domestically up to 30 percent for startup and testing (most travel is in the Midwest)
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
Five or more years of PLC programming experience
Five or more years of control system and control panel design
One or more years of Factorytalk, Wonderware or Ignition software
Ability to travel domestically up to 30 percent (most travel is in the Midwest)
