Essential Job Functions

• Lead daily start up meetings
• Ensure all operators are following policies and procedures, including checklists, documentation etc.
• Identify and resolve production challenges, escalate as required
• Lead safety checks on machines
• Ensure shift compliance with all GMP and Safety regulations.
• Verify and adjust production tracking as needed
• Understand and maintain HACCP/SQF standards
• General understanding of CIP systems, concentrated chemical usage and analysis
• Weekly cycle count of ingredient inventory
• Reconcile WIP inventory daily and lead regular cycle count
• Create and maintain activity logs as needed
• Troubleshoot machinery issues
• Understand and be able to operate all production equipment
• Oversee preop inspection and equipment setup
• Ability to work 3rd shift hours (9:00pm - 5:30am)
• Additional duties as required

Basic Qualifications

• Commitment to Impossible Foods values
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
• Knowledge of high speed machinery and measurement tools
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• Two or more years working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing background preferred

$34.50 - $40 an hour

This position is based in Oakland, CA and has a base hourly range of $34.50/hr - $40.00/hr, + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
