KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

Lead multi-disciplinary / cross-functional teams, workshops, innovation sessions with clients to identify business opportunities and design / develop data analytics solutions Design / develop innovative solutions, demos, and presentation material to demonstrate KPMG's data analytics capabilities to government clients Work with clients / team leads to discover data sources and create data requests; collaborate with data engineers to develop and utilize the ETL process to ingest / enrich structured and unstructured data. Develop plans for automating and implementing the clean-up of data utilizing existing capabilities and/or developing new solutions Work in a collaborative environment to develop data-driven visualizations and dashboards Lead discussions with clients to define visualization, reporting strategy, and gather requirements for dashboards Provide insight, scoping, technical assistance, and quality control over development of dashboards / visualizations with commonly used visualization software (e.g. - Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) Identify opportunities for visualization / reporting enhancements and develop execution approaches / strategies

Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of data analytics solutioning, machine learning models (predictive models, classification, cluster analysis, NLP etc.), visualization dashboards; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Ability to apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to achieve business goals; ability to work with the business to understand available resources / constraints around data (sources, integrity, definitions); provide assistance and resolve problems Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL and their open-source packages / libraries, with the ability to quickly pick up new languages / technologies Experience rapidly ingesting, transforming, engineering, and visualizing data for both ad hoc / product-level analytics solutions Experience / knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data processing Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
