Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Eglin Air Force Base, Florida

Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of mental health and social work practices, possess great communication skills, and be able to work effectively with individuals, families, and groups. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for providing direct services to clients, developing treatment plans, and advocating on behalf of clients in need. A passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality services is essential for this role. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, and families
  • Develop treatment plans and provide crisis intervention
  • Provide emotional, behavioral, and psychological assessment
  • Document progress notes, treatment plans, and other required paperwork
  • Educate clients and their families on available resources
  • Monitor and maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Coordinate referrals to community and government agencies
Job Requirements
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Social Work
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • At least two years of experience in clinical social work experience in last 5 years
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Derogatory or negative information contained on license may be considered a disqualifying factor.
  • BLS certification required prior to start date
  • Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and treatment techniques
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
