• Sign-on bonus: Up to $1,500.00
• Department: Emergency
• Schedule: Full Time Evenings - 36 hours per week. Three 12 hour shifts per week from 3:00PM to 3:00AM. This will include rotating every other weekend and holidays.
• Hospital: Ascension St. Francis Hospital
• Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

Perform trauma support patient care activities in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Assist with procedures ordered by a physician and/or a Registered Nurse (RN) under scope of Board of Nursing and department rules and regulations.
• Respond to Code Blue and trauma resuscitation calls within the department.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Provide training support to other staff members under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Candidates with 1+ years of applicable experience are preferred.
