This position is in Cargill\xe2\x80\x99s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Licensed Practical Nurse - 2nd shift will perform routine occupational health care activities, including health and wellness training and education, employee health services and compliance.Key Accountabilities

• Assist with occupational health programs.
• In accordance with established procedures, conduct our safety and ergonomic training and administer the basics of drug and alcohol programs.
• Plan and implement compliance improvement projects and their deliverables.
• Under general supervision of a registered nurse, treat, evaluate and assess employee illness or injury to ascertain medical direction.
• Help develop, formulate and implement plans of care based on standing orders and medical directives.
• Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Position information:

• We offer a Sign on Bonus.
• Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
• Phone triage: occasional 1 a month or every six week, on the weekends
• Shift Differential: 1.25 per flat rate.
• Position is located in Dodge City, Kansas.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
• Licensed practical nurse or vocational nurse or equivalent in other geographies
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Willing and able to work a 2nd shift

Preferred Qualification

• Bilingual: Spanish & English
• Occupational Health Experience
