Education Qualifications:As a CMA or LPN within Podiatry, you will assist RNs, Physicians and other providers. You will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. You will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. The cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.: Become part of Essentia\xe2\x80\x99s accomplished team in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, where 465 lakes provide endless options for water sports and recreation. These cities, 125 miles north of Minneapolis, are at the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, one of the state\xe2\x80\x99s top vacation destinations. Brainerd-Baxter is home to 65,000 year-round residents and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the state.This position will support within our Podiatry Department and will work 32 hours/week.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state (Minnesota) -OR- current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant -OR- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. Job Location: Brainerd Clinic
