General Summary of Position

Join the dedicated team at MedStar Union Memorial on our Med/Surg-Telemetry unit. This 31-bed unit specializes in general medical-surgical and telemetry care. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and value the contributions of each team member.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.

\xc2\xb7 Identifies current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations.

\xc2\xb7 Critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• LPN from an accredited School of Nursing required.

• Prior Clinical Nursing maternal health experience preferred.

• Active MD LPN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
