NaphCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LPNs or LVNs) just like you to join our team at the Frederick County Jail located in Frederick, Maryland. Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $30 - $38.75 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience.

At NaphCare, we want you to be able to use your skills. Our site positions encourage cross-training and include roles such as medication pass nurse, detox nurse, and sick call nurse.

This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

Position Description:

• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments
• Administer medications
• Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy
• Collect samples, specimens and cultures
• Transcribe therapeutic orders
