  • Lead the Way in Group Treatment: Engage groups of patients in dynamic therapy sessions that build real-world skills and support personal growth.
  • Craft Engaging Experiential Learning: Dive into hands-on therapeutic activities that empower youth to explore and develop essential life skills.
  • Specialize in Key Therapeutic Areas: Facilitate specialized groups focusing on critical topics like anger management, building healthy relationships, and fostering self-efficacy.
  • Celebrate and Connect: Plan and lead fun days and special celebrations, creating moments of joy and connection for our youth.
  • Explore Beyond Our Walls: Coordinate and lead outings and special off-campus events that enrich the therapeutic experience.
  • Document and Reflect: Maintain detailed progress notes for individual and group sessions, ensuring alignment with our therapeutic goals and compliance standards.
  • Manage a Diverse Caseload: In addition to group work, you may also handle a select individual/family caseload, broadening your impact and deepening relationships.

  • Education: Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a related field (counseling, recreation therapy) Required
  • Required Licensure: State of Arkansas: LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW
  • Experience: At least one (1) year of experience providing group therapy in a hospital setting with psychiatric patients preferred
  • Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care Training within 30 days of employment
