Our institution is renowned for its comprehensive training programs, serving over 30 properties both on and off the Las Vegas Strip. As a Lifeguard Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of lifeguards, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm required to excel in their roles. This position demands a high-energy individual with a deep understanding of lifeguarding techniques, exceptional teamwork capabilities, and a commitment to excellence in education and safety. Responsibilities
- *Conduct lifeguard training sessions in accordance with established curriculum and safety standards. *Evaluate trainees\' performance, providing constructive feedback and additional support as needed. *Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to continuously improve training programs and materials. *Ensure all training activities are compliant with state regulations and industry best practices. *Participate in regular professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills. *Foster a positive, energetic, and supportive learning environment for all trainees.
- *Current certification as a Lifeguard Instructor from the American Red Cross. *Proven experience in lifeguarding, with a strong preference for candidates who have previous teaching or coaching experience. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire trainees. *Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently. *Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and ethics. *Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by training schedules.
