Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world\'s largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Container Management Operator (Logistics Analyst).

Rotation schedule will 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Manage northbound airfreight schedules, prioritization of freight, tracking of air freight, and air freight reconciliation
• Assist in sealift data entry, and tracking
• Perform container inspections and collection of container data
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state issued driver\'s license
• 2-3 years previous experience in logistics or supply chain operations preferred
• Understanding of ocean, air, and over the road (OTR) logistics
• Strong computer proficiency in Excel, Access, and other Microsoft Office products
• Strong interpersonal skills - written & oral communication skills, ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to develop strong professional working relationships with stakeholders and service providers
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Able to work outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions
