Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Conduct assessments and document patient information accurately - Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care - Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff - Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient care activities Experience: - Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Experience in [specific specialty areas such as ophthalmology, dermatology, pediatrics, etc.] is preferred - Familiarity with procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, dialysis, dermal fillers, etc. - Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
