Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Description:

Provides nursing care using the nursing process under the direction of the RN and in collaboration with other health care team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Minimum: High School diploma. Graduate from a state accredited nursing program. Current State of Michigan Practical Nurse Licensure (LPN) required. Completes required elements to maintain Michigan Practical Nurse licensure. Must maintain current BLS certification and CEUs for re-licensure.

Related Experience
Minimum: Experience in a healthcare setting as an LPN.
Preferred: Hospital experience.
Computer Competency
Familiarity with standard desktop and Windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
Physical/Mental
Minimum: Physically and mentally capable of performing position requirements. Must be able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Frequent standing, walking. Occasional bending stooping, twisting. Ability to hear speech, speak, use near-far vision and fine motor skills. Ability to perform continuously detailed tasks with frequent interruptions and work prioritization.
